Insulpanel
It is a dual laminated panel made up of an expanded polystyrene, fire-retardant nucleus, and covered on both faces with steel sheets. It is designed to be installed as a roof, exterior wall, interior wall or as a ceiling.

What is the panel's size?
To be used as wall, it is manufactured in 1.17 meters in width (3'83"), and for roofs it is manufactured in 1.17 (3'83") and 1.22 meters (4') in width.
What is its thickness?
Its thickness can go from 2" up to 12"
What does Thermal "R" mean?
"R" is a value established to represent the thermal value; it defines a material's capacity to delay the transfer of heat between interiors and exteriors. Insulpanel has a value of "R"=4.0 per inch in thickness.
What is the gap of the panel's purlin-resistance?
PFor industrial-type naves, the most common separation between purlins has a range between 4'0" (1.22 meters) and 5'0" (1.524 meters). It is installed without a support, the resistance increases as the panel's thickness increases. For a better reference, please check the technical manuals of ask the Technical Assistance Department.
How is the insulpanel installed and affixed?
In industrial-type naves and in most buildings where it is used, there is already a purlin-based structure to which the panel can be affixed through special anchors (Fab-lok) from the building’s interior, and through if they are affixed from the building’s exterior, self-screwing screws an inch longer length than the panel’s thickness can be used.
