Insulpanel Plus

It is a dual-laminated panel made up of an expanded polystyrene nucleus, and covered on both sides with a steel sheet.

It is often said that the ratio between polystyrene and polyurethane is 2 to 1. What is the correct parameter?

The ratio between polystyrene and polyurethane is 1.45 to 1, that is, for each inch of polyurethane 1.5 inches of polystyrene are needed, according to the values provided by the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). In terms of the polyurethane and polystyrene conductivity stated by ASHRAE, we have: 0.26/0.18=1.45 times. This result represents the thickness equivalent to polystyrene in terms of an inch of polyurethane.

Does polystyrene wear out or lose its insulating properties?

Polystyrene is not affected by humidity whatsoever, so it never wears out. The use of polystyrene to preserve different products assures there is no material degradation.

Can Isulpanel Plus be incorporated or combined with other products?

Insulpanel's great versatility allows us to combine it with any construction product or material available on the market: masonry, panel and mortar walls, metallic structures, curved support structures, etc. This gives us an excellent building material, very light and with great insulating capabilities.

What is the longest size and thicknesses available for Insupanel Plus?

Since it is produced in a high-technology continuous process, we are only limited by the transporting platform size, and its thickness ranges from 1-12 inches.

What are the characteristics offered by the Insulpanel Plus sheet?

The sheet used for Insulpanel Plus meets the highest quality standards and they come from the some of the largest steel sheet providers, such as GALVAC and IMSA, and they offer us a wide array of coverings for our panels' sheets: smooth, covered, special colors, etc.

What are the main advantages offered by Insulpanel Plus?

Quick installation due to system's simplicity, saved building time, heat insulation, water-proof, it is a lightweight element with great structural resistance, mechanical stability and weather-resistant, different colors and finishes available, reusable in case of a move.
