MARINA FLOATERS

These are expanded polystyrene pieces which are sliced according to the intended project, and they can be formed by 1 or more pieces. They are assembled and joined together so they are delivered to the customer already on the required sizes.

Such pieces are the marina's foundation because they provide the flotation capabilities; their design is based on the polystyrene properties combined with a concrete covering, and both elements make up the marina's docks.

Can you make any type of floater?

Practically, yes. These pieces are made up of several sections, which are then glued together with a special resin.

Can floaters be designed with manholes on them?

Yes, they can be included during the manufacturing process.

How are they covered?

They are normally covered with special concrete, which is poured on special moldings designed for such pieces with the exact covering which provides a balance to maintain the flotation line.

What polystyrene density is used on the floaters?

They are manufactured according to the customer's specifications; 16 kg/m³ is normally used.
